He also directs the area of personal development, coaching and educational NLP within Esencia Educativa, a project of the Maecenas Foundation. He puts together educational practice (more than ten years of experience as a school counsellor in schools within Madrid) with the formation of teachers of more than 30 nationalities, research, application of alternative methodologies and technologies within the educational field.

Within the field of NLP he studied with Richard Bandler and John Grinder, the creators of NLP. However, he considers himself professionally and emotionally, a follower of Robert Dilts and Judith DeLozier, major exponents of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. He is an associate professor at NLP University in California and has obtained the first world affiliation to give the certificates of NLPU within the educational field. He is a member of Asociacion Espanola de PNL and of Global NLP Training and Consulting Community.

Right now, he also does consultancy in educational centres to awaken learning, innovation and the implementation of active methodologies within the process of learning and teaching.

Specialized in pedagogy, through his activities as a professor he developed a series of innovative techniques. These were created in order to help people to give the best of themselves, independently from what was their profile.

However, most important was his active participation in the implementation of NLP in our country through the project “Mente Colectiva”, of which he is the honorary director.

Robert Dilts has been a developer, author, trainer and consultant in the field of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) – a model of human behaviour, learning and communication – since its creation in 1975 by John Grinder and Richard Bandler.

Robert Dilts started his career as a student of John Grinder and Richard Bandler, who he then became colleague with. Moreover, he had the chance to study with Milton H. Erickson, M.D., and Gregory Bateson. First of all, he has been leading NLP applications in education, creativity, health and leadership. Moreover, his personal
contributions to the field of NLP include much of the original work of NLP techniques on strategies and belief systems, and the development of what has become known as the “systemic” NLP.

Some of his techniques and models include: Reimprinting, Integration of Conflicting Beliefs, Sleight of Mouth Patterns, The Spelling Strategy, The Allergy Technique, Neuro-Logical Levels, The Belief Change Cycle, Generative NLP Patterns, the Unified Field Theory for NLP and many others.

He is the main author of Neuro-linguistic Programming Vol. I (with John Grinder, Richard Bandler and Judith DeLozier, 1980), which serves as a standard text of reference for the field. In addition, he has written a large number of NLP books, his most recent work is “From Coach to Awakener” (Coaching – Tools for change).

Recognized internationally as one of the foremost developers, trainers and practitioners of NLP, Robert has done consulting and training throughout the world for a wide variety of professional groups and organizations.
